At Thought Industries, we’re committed to the continuous enhancement of our Learning Business Platform™. Here’s a rundown of everything we released this week.
The search bar on the catalog page has been redesigned. Along with this visual refresh, the catalog can now be filtered by content type. This will help learners find what they need more quickly and easily.
All content types and ecommerce items in a site's catalog will appear with the “Filter by” dropdown as a selection option. To fine-tune a search, multiple content types may be selected and applied as filters.
The authors of content can now be displayed in the listing on the catalog page when set to list display. To add an author to your content, navigate to the catalog display settings for a piece of content and choose "show advanced."
The amount of learner reference fields has been increased from 3 to 10. These fields can be used to store important learner information within Thought Industries. The fields can be populated using the onboarding survey tool, SSO, or through manual input.
The appearance of standalone video content on mobile devices has been refined. The video will now appear before any body text, presenting the most important asset at the top of the page. This adjustment was made based on customer feedback.
Also influenced by product feedback, a maximum height has been added to the Body editor when creating articles and videos. Now, the WYSIWYG editor is always accessible at the top of the field when working on lengthy copy. This improves user experience by keeping text formatting options easily available.
